Consumer Reports is commemorating the fourth anniversary of the CPSIA law that introduced a variety of new standards that products must meet to be sold in the marketplace. Those standards include new testing that all toys must submit to, a required reduction in the amount of lead in a product, and enhanced requirements for cribs. A website was also established so that consumers could search through a database online.
