Chicken Jerky Treats Continue to Be Scrutinized

Posted on August 15, 2012

Additional complaints continue to arise in regards to China-produced chicken jerky treats for dogs, yet the Food and Drug Administration has struggled to come up with answers.  Sweet potato jerky and duck jerky items are now going to be tested by the FDA, although tests of other products have thus far not proved fruitful in turning up any health threats.  Milo’s Kitchen Chicken treats, although still on shelves, will no longer be ordered by Safeway.  Pet owners across the country are worried about this safety issue.
