Posted on August 6, 2012

After 107 complaints, along with upwards of $7 million worth of property damage and three alleged instances of smoke being inhaled and causing injuries, the CPSC has announced that Kenmore Dehumidifiers are being recalled.  They were only available through Sears and Kmart. The recall is the result of a potential fire hazard.  Persons who have purchased one of the 795,000 units can contact Sears to receive a gift card.
