Distracted Driving Prevalent in Calgary Despite Tough Law

Posted on

Calgary, Canada has marked one year since distracted driving legislation was passed, yet violations resulting in citations average around 10 per day, according to local police. While the numbers dropped shortly after the passage of the legislation, it seems that people have forgotten or are ignoring the law. For now, the police plan to continue their enforcement efforts while officials consider other solutions.
