Residents Give San Francisco Poor Marks on Pedestrian Safety

Posted on August 28, 2012

A new poll conducted by the Bay Citizen found that San Francisco does not rate very high in terms of pedestrian safety.  On a scale of 1 to 10, the answers from 98 respondents averaged out to 4.6, so slightly less than mediocre.  50% of people that answered the survey commented that more enforcement would be necessary to improve safety, while others thought new laws restricting turns at red lights would help.
