McDonald’s Promotes Pedestrian Safety Campaign in Hawaii Schools

Posted on August 28, 2012

McDonald’s restaurants in Hawaii are taking part in a Pedestrian Safety Program.  They’ve partnered with the State Departments of Transportation and Education, the city of Honolulu, and other entities to install decals at elementary schools throughout Hawaii.  Red shoeprints rest beneath a safety message on the decals.  McDonald’s hopes the decals can help remind students of the importance of looking both ways before crossing the street.
