Group Seeks to Improve Pedestrian Safety Laws in Las Vegas

Posted on August 23, 2012

A member of Las Vegas’s Safe Community Partnership is crusading to get changes made to pedestrian safety laws in the area.  She spoke with a local television station to discuss how current laws on the books are vague in their wording, and that improvements need to be made so that pedestrians know when it’s legal to cross a given street.  She would also like to see laws regarding traffic signage and yielding changed as well.
