Police in Waynesboro, Virginia Crack Down on School Zone Violations

In Waynesboro, Virginia, parents and students on their way to and from school can expect to see increased attention paid to those persons who violate pedestrian safety laws.  The police department has vowed to be strict in their enforcement of laws pertaining to crosswalks, seatbelts, speed limits, child safety seats, and passing school buses.  Two recent pedestrian deaths have prompted the police to call upon drivers to be cautious in school zones.
