19 Vision School Buses Recalled By Blue Bird Due to Crash Hazard

Posted on August 2, 2012

19 Vision school buses of the 2013 model year are being recalled by Blue Bird because of a potentially missing component.  The missing component is a certain electronic module that kicks on an indicator light on the dash when the hydraulic brake system loses pressure.  If a bus experiences a loss of pressure, yet the driver isn’t warned, he or she would not be prepared for the ensuing decrease in braking ability and a crash could transpire.  Buses will be repaired at no cost, and affected owners should receive an alert around August 23.
