Idaho Organizations Promote AT & T Anti-Texting Campaign

Posted on August 16, 2012

A study by the Virginia Tech Transportation Institute shows that drivers who are texting behind the wheel dramatically increase their chances of getting in a crash.  As such, AT&T has started a national anti-texting campaign. In Idaho, the Idaho State Police Department, the Idaho Transportation Department, and several other organizations will support this campaign at the local level.  The campaign asks for a pledge from drivers to commit to not text while driving for their entire life.
