Drakes Bay Oysters Recalled For Possible Bacterial Contamination

Drakes Bay Oysters have been recalled from throughout the state of California because of their potential to be plagued by a Vibrio parahaemolyticus contamination.  This bacteria could lead a person to experience vomiting, diarrhea, and fever.  Three illnesses have been reported at this time.  The affected oysters were harvested between July 17 and August 8, and the lot numbers are between 363 and 421.
