Pondhopper and Big Woods Blue Cheese Recalled by Tomales Bay Foods

The Petaluma, California-based Tomales Bay Foods has announced the recall of two of its cheeses because of the potential risk of a Listeria contamination. Listeria can cause severe, sometimes fatal, reactions in the very young and the very old. The recall involves 133 pounds of Big Woods Blue and Pondhopper partial wheels of cheese available through both retailers and restaurant establishments in North Carolina, California, and Florida.
