Montana DOT Uses STEP Grant to Promote Motorcycle Safety

A STEP grant has been bestowed upon the Montana Department of Transportation’s Traffic Safety Bureau, and the agency hopes to use the money to increase enforcement, especially as it regards motorcycle safety.  Toward that end, the Sheriff of Lewis and Clark County is warning all drivers to be on the lookout for motorcycles.  This includes checking blind spots on turns and exercising caution when a motorcycle is nearby.
