Idaho Sees Increase in Motorcycle Fatalities in 2012

Posted on August 8, 2012

Officials in Idaho are troubled by recent statistics showing a marked increase in motorcycle fatalities in the state.  Thus far in 2012, the state has experienced 13 deaths, up from six in the previous year.  Warmer weather may be partially to blame, as it brings more riders on the road.  Riders in the area are encouraged to take part in STAR training, as doing so reportedly reduces crash risk by 79%.
