The Bicycle Safety Education Program in Baltimore will be the recipient of nearly $50,000 in funding support. The money will go toward the development of bicycle rodeos, workshops geared toward adult riders, and more. The Baltimore Department of Transportation is working with a local nonprofit on the project, which will also see various Bike Baltimore maps updated to include the newest information available in both Spanish and English. Police officers will also get in on the act with various community outreach projects.
