Poor Riding Habits Blamed for Rise In Kentucky Motorcycle Fatalities

Kentucky is on track to experience an increase in motorcycle accidents 52% higher than last year.  And 50 people atop motorcycles have already died thus far.  That’s why a spokesperson from the Traffic Safety Institute of Eastern Kentucky University is emphasizing the importance of safety classes.  She thinks that larger motorcycles are beyond the capabilities of many modern riders, and that on curves this inability to maneuver can easily lead to a crash. She says that, sadly, this deficiency is likely the result of Americans’ gravitation toward desk jobs and inactivity.
