There are many dangers associated with texting and driving. To demonstrate the risk, a reporter in Toronto put these dangers to the test as she partook in an exercise that tasked her and other reporters with texting while behind the wheel of a go-kart. The reporter got a firsthand feel as to how difficult it is to text and drive and how dangerous it can be to themselves and other commuters on the road. Deceleration happened whenever her eyes were averted from the road, and the reporter didn’t even notice when her kart had been snagged by another vehicle.
