Ford Sues Dana Over 2011 Recall of Windstar Minivans

Posted on August 2, 2012

Last year, Ford was forced to recall 425,000 Windstar minivans once it was discovered that salt placed on the road following blizzard conditions could cause corrosion and breakage in the vehicles.  Ford blames frames provided by the Dana Corporation for the defect and ensuing recall, and they have now filed a lawsuit against the company.  Ford wants to be reimbursed for the expense of the recall, but Dana denies that their company shares responsibility for the issue.
