Trader Joe’s Items Recalled by Huxtable’s Kitchen For Listeria Threat

Posted on August 1, 2012

The threat of Gills Onions being contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes has led to the recall of yet another product.  This time, the recall was announced by Huxtable’s Kitchen, and concerns Wheatberry Salad, Roasted Butternut Squash, and Red Quinoa made under the Trader Joe’s brand.  The items were sold at Trader Joe’s stores in the Western portion of the United States, and each product will have a use by date between July 28 and 30, so they really shouldn’t be consumed anymore anyway.  Instead, simply destroy the expired items.
