83 Volkswagen Beetles of the 2012 model year have been recalled due to their possibly having tires that do not meet federal safety standards. The tires on the affected vehicles can be over or under inflated, creating a crash risk. Owners of the affected vehicles are being notified by Volkswagen and the tires will be replaced without any cost to the owner.
