Rochester News Agency Uses Accident to Warn Against Distracted Driving

A new article shares the story of a victim of a distracted driving accident as part of a Rochester, New York news agency’s campaign to prevent car accidents caused by distractions. This particular incident was caused by a driver changing radio stations who allegedly ran a stop sign.  The victim of the accident was paralyzed from the neck down. He is now sharing how the accident changed his life and affected his family, friends, and even his marriage, as he was engaged when the accident occurred.  Strong Memorial Hospital staff signed the news agency’s pledge to abstain from texting while driving in the hopes that similar accidents can be avoided in the future.
