Portland Has Highest Percentage of Bicyclists in North America [Infographic]

To become more environmentally friendly, cities almost necessarily have to become more bicycle-friendly.  This infographic shows the North American cities with the largest percentage of the population that commutes to and from their destinations via bicycle.  Portland, Oregon tops the list with 3.9% of the population hopping on their bikes for their commute.  Coming in at #8 is New York City.
