Police officers in Scotland believe that speed restrictor functions in all vehicles will help drivers slow down successfully in crucial areas like school zones. Police also favor installing black boxes in all cars driven by young drivers to monitor driving behavior and thus determine fair insurance premiums based on the data collected. These issues are being evaluated in the Scottish Parliament for potential approval.
