Peppermint Bon Bon Recalled by Cass-Clay Creamy For Allergen Risk

Posted on July 11, 2012

Cass-Clay Creamery, a company based out of Fargo, North Dakota, has announced the recall of half gallon packages of Hornbacher’s Peppermint Bon Bon Light and SunnyBrook Peppermint Bon Bon Light, as well as 1.75 quart packages of Schroeder Peppermint Bon Bon.  This owes to the fact that they might contain eggs which are not listed on the label. If one has an allergy or sensitivity to eggs and eats the item, they could have a serious or life threatening reaction. No reports of illness have been made at this time. Consumers can call Cass-Clay with questions and return the item to a store to get their money back.
