A campaign to curb aggressive driving in Pennsylvania will run until August 16. Known as the Pennsylvania Aggressive Driving Enforcement Project, the main focus of the campaign will be distracted and aggressive drivers, while a secondary emphasis will be placed on drivers who run red lights. Police will crack down on these drivers in an effort to lower the high numbers of crashes and fatalities in the state. Last year saw 14,200 accidents related to distractions and 6,300 crashes where aggression was a factor.
