Nissan Juke Recalled Over Rear Seat Defect That Poses Injury Threat

Posted on July 17, 2012

Beginning this month, certain owners of the 2012 Nissan Juke may be receiving a recall notice. Due to faulty welding on the rear seat back striker, the backs of the rear seats in these Jukes may come loose if a collision takes place, posing a heightened injury risk to the passengers in those seats.  Seat back strikers of affected vehicles will be replaced without charge to the owner. If your Nissan Juke was manufactured between February and May of 2012, your vehicle may be affected. Owners may contact Nissan with further questions.
