NHTSA and Safe Kids Warn About Hot Car Danger in Raleigh

Safe Kids and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration took part in a press conference at Raleigh, North Carolina’s Wake Tech Public Safety Educational Campus. The accompanying demonstration was intended to call attention to the dangers that occur when children are trapped in vehicles during hot weather. Experts say that deaths resulting from hyperthermia in the car can be avoided easily.  Preventative measures include locking parked cars and always maintaining close supervision of children.
