Motorcycle Helmet Necessity Debated by Ohio Citizens

Citizens in the state of Ohio are in disagreement as to the necessity of wearing a helmet while astride a motorcycle.  On the one hand, one individual says he has nothing against helmets but won’t put one on unless the government passes legislation requiring it.  But an Austintown instructor never rides his motorcycle without a helmet and attendant safety gear.  He recognizes the importance and would like to see a universal law.  The NHTSA says helmet use is on the rise, with 66% of motorcyclists wearing one.
