Electric Car Accident Response Education Offered in Reynoldsburg, Ohio

Several firefighters received training from the National Fire Protection Association in an area that many across the country may have overlooked. The training, which took place at the Ohio Fire Academy in Reynoldsburg, was centered around how to safely respond to automobile accidents when the vehicle in question is an electric car. There are a few key differences that some firefighters and paramedics received education on, including the importance of killing the engine and never cutting the high voltage cord.
