Posted on July 31, 2012

1,051 cartons of Catswell Brand VitaKitty Chicken Breast with Flaxseed and Vitamins are being recalled by Arthur Dogswell because the cat treats’ might contain propylene glycol.  High levels of this contaminant could cause cats’ red blood cells to become anemic, leading the cat to experience a serious injury.  No pet owners have reported their felines’ as having incurred an illness at this time, but even so, consumers are being advised to return units from the affected lot to the store where they bought the product.  A refund will be issued.
