Almost 3,000 soy candles sold in the United States and Canada have been recalled by Bath Petals due to a possible fire and laceration hazard. The CPSC and Health Canada joined with Bath Petals in announcing the recall, saying the candle can burn at an excessively high temperature that could cause the glass holder to shatter and cut bystanders. The candles should not be used, and consumers can contact the manufacturer for a full refund.
