Tita Products Recalls Quesito Colombiano Over Pasteurization Worries

Tita Products is recalling Colombian-style cheese because of potentially improperly pasteurized milk used in the manufacturing process. This may cause a variety of foodborne illnesses, including Listeria and Salmonella. The recalled cheese products are sold in rectangular clear plastic tubs and plastic pouches and are labeled Quesito Colombiano Colombian Cheese. No illness has been reported thus far and customers have the choice of returning or simply throwing out the cheese.
