Suffolk County Class Helps Educate Teens About Distracted Driving

Posted on July 11, 2012

Suffolk County is promoting a class on teen driver safety. The county holds the record for the highest number of driving fatalities in the state of New York, and their police department is looking to educate the public about driving habits to improve those numbers. The class will stress the importance of cutting down on distractions from obvious sources like mobile phones and eating while driving, but also from passengers.
