RFID Phone Jammer Developed to Curb Distracted Driving

Engineers from Chennai, India’s Anna University of Technology have invented a radio-frequency identification (RFID) device that stops car drivers from using their phones when the car is in motion. By using a mobile jammer, the new technology ensures that the driver’s phone will not work, though other passengers will still be able to chat away.
