In-Car Pet Harnesses Help Drivers Comply With State Laws

A new article discusses safe travel with with pets in the car. New distracted driving laws in New Jersey, Hawaii, Connecticut, and Arizona prohibit having an animal from riding loose in an automobile. Several companies have begun to sell products aimed at meeting the restrictions of this law, including a special harness that attaches to a car seat, and a front-seat barrier that keeps pets away from the driver.
