CHP Warns Parents About The Dangers of a Hot Car

A new article discusses the danger of leaving children in a heated vehicle unattended. According to the California Highway Patrol, who held a demonstration on the rising temperatures in parked cars, the internal temperature of a parked car can be 25 degrees higher than the external temperature. This is extremely dangerous for children who are left unattended in the vehicle. For the children who die in these conditions, their guardians or caretakers can be charged with manslaughter and child endangerment.
