According to news sources, a recall has been issued for Crickit Convenience Kits after it was found that the Triad Povidone Iodine Prep Pads that are a component of the product could potentially be contaminated.

The company, North American Rescue LLC, has announced the recall as a follow up on a previous nationwide recall of the potentially contaminated component. The Iodine Prep Pads have the potential to be contaminated with bacterium Elizabethkingia meningoseptica. The recalled kits have product codes 10-0017, 80-0070, 80-0071, 80-0071, 80-0096.

The contamination of the product could potentially cause life-threatening risks to surgical patients and at-risk populations.
