Recalled: Kelly Jogging Strollers Due to Fall Hazard

Posted on February 27, 2012

According to news sources, a recall has been issued for about 3,000 units of Kelly Single and Double Jogging Strollers due to a fall and injury hazard.

The company announced the recall after it was found that the recalled strollers had faulty front wheels which could potentially come loose while in use, causing the stroller to possibly tip over as a result. To date, three incidents have been received by the company involving minor cuts and scrapes to children. Injuries to adults including fractured bones were also reported. The recalled model numbers include 20090116, 20090216, 20090116B, 20650611, 20650411BLU, and 20650411CU.

Consumers with the recalled stroller models should stop using them immediately. Those with the recalled strollers should also contact the company at (866) 349-7225 to receive updated instructions regarding the assembly and maintenance of the recalled stroller models.
