Posted on January 20, 2012

According to news sources, a recall has been issued for 16. oz packages of Torta de Pan after it was found that the product contained an undeclared milk allergen, which can cause severe or life-threatening allergic reactions if consumed by people with allergy or sensitivity to milk products.

The company, JKS Wholesale SVCS Inc., announced the recall after laboratory tests confirmed the presence of an undeclared milk ingredient in the product. The recalled products do not include those sold on earlier than 02/15/12.
