According to news sources, about 25,500 units of the Handheld Massage Pets distributed by Fourstar Group USA Inc., have been recalled due to burn hazards arising from the batteries potentially leaking.

Fourstar Group USA Inc., announced the voluntary recall in cooperation with The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission after it was found that the batteries of the recalled product can leak, therefore potentially causing burns skin injuries to consumers. The recalled product come in a lady bug as well as a bee shape. The ladybug massager has a UPC 0 49696 60453 6 while the bee massager has UPC 0 49696 60454 3.

The recalled products retail for about $8 per unit.

Consumers should stop using the recalled product immediately and return them for a full refund. Consumers can contact the company at (866) 290-6191 for additional information.
