Recall: Bugaboo Americas Stroller Adapter Due To Fall Hazard

According to news sources, a recall has been issued for about 64,000 car seat adapters after it was found that they can potentially detach from the stroller, posing a fall hazard for infants inside the recalled product.

The recall was announced in cooperation with The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission due to the fall injury hazard. The recalled stroller adapters have model numbers 80400GC01 and 80401GC02 and have been sold from December 2005 through July 2011.

The recalled products have a retail price of about $45.

Consumers should stop using the recalled product immediately and contact the company at 800-460-2922 for a full service kit. Consumers can also contact the company for additional information.
