2011 Nissan Rogue Recalled Due To Faulty Power Steering

Posted on December 5, 2011

According to news sources, a recall has been issued for the 2011 Nissan Rogue after it was found that some of the vehicles have an incorrectly installed power steering system. About 7,365 vehicles have been included in the recall due to the faulty electronic power steering (EPS) circuit boards.

The recall was announced in cooperation with The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration due to the risk of collision arising from the improperly installed power steering circuit boards, which can potentially cause a sudden loss of steering power for motorists.

The recalled vehicles have been manufactured from August 2010 through October 2010.

Consumers with the recalled vehicles should expect to be contacted by the company and instructed to take their vehicles to their dealership for a free replacement of the faulty unit. For additional information consumers can contact the company at 800-647-7261.
