Recall Issued For Hino Commercial Trucks

Posted on November 16, 2011

Recent News articles have exposed that commercial trucks manufactured by Hino Motors Sales U.S.A., INC. are being recalled due to a possible axle assembly malfunction that can cause severe accidents.

According to the manufacturer, the model 2012 of the various Hino ND8J, NE8J, NJ8J and NV8J commercial trucks all produced from July through September 2011, may have had a rear axle installation issue during the assembly of the vehicle.

Because both wheel-end retainer on the front and axle were installed in an incorrect way, the vehicle can lose it’s wheel-hub, which will result in the wheels separating from the vehicle. This dismemberment of the vehicle parts can result in severe accidents.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s Vehicle Safety Hotline is available for any consumer who happens to have doubts regarding this recall. As a Los Angeles personal injury lawyer, I hope these vehicles will be taken off the road as fast as possible. We cannot allow malfunctioning trucks to share the road with other vehicles.

Personal injury lawyers can be of great assistance in the case of a truck accident that was caused by a third party. Don’t forget to contact the right personal injury lawyer for your case in your area.
