Rolls-Royce to Recall 2010 Ghost Vehicles

Posted on November 2, 2011

News reported that there was a recall allegedly issued by Rolls-Royce and Ghost for the 2010 Ghost vehicles that have been manufactured from September 2009 through September 2010. The cars being recalled are equipped with turbocharged engines and are allegedly malfunctioning due to the circuit board being under the risk of overheating.

The company explained that the particular overheating issue is related to the electric auxiliary water pump, which may pose a threat to the vehicle’s owner. Safety concerns are directly linked to the possible overheating results, which may be the smoldering of the pump or even vehicle fire.

The company will notify owners of the recall so all vehicles will be returned to dealerships for a free replacement of the auxiliary water pump. As reported by the news article, the recall is due to begin during this month of November.
