Drug Recalled After Tests Revealed Banned Ingredient

Posted on October 6, 2011

Uprizing 2.0, a drug made by Superior Metabolic Technologies Inc, has been recalled due to the presence of an undeclared, banned ingredient, according to recent news sources.

Uprizing is a testosterone booster that was found to contain superdrol, a synthetic steroid that is currently banned. Users of synthetic anabolic steroids have been known to sustain acute liver injury and serious long-term health consequences such as testes shrinkage, male infertility, male breast enlargement, masculinization of women, short stature in children, a propensity to misuse other drugs, and increased risk of stroke, heart attack, and death.

The drug was sold in health stores in Texas, South Carolina, New Jersey, Mississippi, Georgia, Alabama, Arizona, and California.

Consumers should return Uprizing 2.0 to their store of purchase.

At our Los Angeles personal injury law firm, consumer safety is our number one priority. We know that even with all of the rules and regulations imposed on product manufacturers things can still go wrong and sometimes companies even put profit before safety. If you or a loved one has been affected by a recalled product please do not hesitate to call a product defect lawyer right away. The longer you wait the more chance you have of losing evidence for your potential product liability case.
