Husqvarna Professional Products has recalled a RedMax lawn care product due to a fire hazard, according to recent news sources.

About 10,500 of the RedMax brushcutter/trimmers are subject to recall, according to reports by the Consumer Product Safety Commission. The products are being recalled after it was discovered that the fuel tanks leak at the fuel cap, which poses a fire hazard to the user.

The model number is TR2350S, with serial numbers ranging from 10215377 to 10625892, and serial numbers of the engine ranging from 10115390 to 10425910. The model and serial number of the shaft is located on the shaft, midway between the trimmer and engine. The engine serial number in on the bottom of the engine between two screws that hold the fuel tank to the engine. The engine is a 2-cycle gasoline system. A spinning trimmer cuts grass or weeds.

The product was sold at RedMax dealers for about $260.00.

No injuries have been reported.
