BUI Natural Tofu has issued a recall for their salad rolls due to the presence of undeclared allergens, according to news sources.
Wheat and soy were found in products that did not reflect those ingredients on its label. The Department of Agriculture conducted the tests. Both soy and wheat are known to be common food allergens.
The products subject to recall are the Shrimp Salad Roll (UPC code 8-95467-00203-8) and the Vegetarian Salad Roll (UPC code 8-95467-00204-5). The salad rolls are marketed under the BUI “Fresh from the Bean” brand. The rolls are in trays wrapped with clear plastic.
Those who are allergic to wheat and/or soy should not consume the product in order to avoid triggering an allergic reaction. If you have purchased this product, you can return it to your store of purchase for a full refund.
