Deborah S. Chang To Co-Chair Daily Journal Inaugural Event “Women Leadership in Law”

Panish | Shea | Ravipudi LLP attorney Deborah S. Chang will serve as co-chair for the Daily Journal “Women Leadership in Law” event to be held at The Montage Beverly Hills on Tuesday, May 23, 2017. The inaugural conference and interactive forum will bring together some of the greatest law firm and in-house practitioners to participate in insightful discussions on topics important to the legal profession and of interest to women leaders including Women in the Courtroom, Women in the Boardroom, Career Trajectory of Women in Law, Women on the Bench, Communication Skills for Women and Women Success Stories.

Named by Daily Journal as one of the Top Women Lawyers in California in 2016, Ms. Chang was on trial teams that obtained the two largest wrongful death verdicts in California in 2014, four of the top 25 verdicts in California in both 2014 and 2015 – including the largest verdicts received in North County, San Diego and Imperial County. She is the recipient of the 2014 Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC) Consumer Attorney of the Year Award, and was a finalist for the award in 2012 and 2016. Ms. Chang is a member of the Los Angeles chapter of ABOTA, where she serves on the Executive Committee and is a National Board Member. She also serves on the Executive Committee and as a Board Member of the CAOC, and is currently the Third Vice-President and Education Chair for 2017.

In addition to Ms. Chang, Cheryl D. Orr of Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP will serve as co-chair for the event and Ellen M.
