Posted on May 4, 2016

Porter Ranch LogoThe daily reimbursement amount for meal allowance has changed for eligible residents relocated as a result of the Aliso Canyon Storage facility gas well blowout last October. On Sunday, May 1, 2016, Southern California Gas Company began implementing a new, three-tiered meal reimbursement plan based on the age of the relocated residents.

Eligible residents receiving meal reimbursement assistance must fill out the Meal Allowance Verification Form and fax the completed form with all required documentation to (844) 308-5794 by Friday, May 6th.

For your convenience, you may obtain a copy of the Meal Allowance Verification form here. Per Southern California Gas Company’s instruction, failure to submit the required identification information by the May 6 deadline will result in a default reimbursement package of (1) adult at $45 per day and $25 for any remaining residents.

REQUIRED IDENTIFICATION INFORMATION consists of the following:

  • For adults over the age of 18, acceptable forms of documentation for items include photocopies of a valid identify card with an expiration date (including driver’s license), or photocopies of a valid passport.
  • For school-age children, acceptable forms of documentation include current enrollment documents, report cards, and other official documentation.
