Panish | Shea | Ravipudi LLP attorney Deborah Chang’s article entitled “The story of their lives: Telling the jury a story to prove non-economic damages” is the cover article in the Advocate magazine’s April 2015 issue.  The article highlights how an attorney can develop the “story” of a client’s life or the life of a loved one in order to demonstrate the suffering caused by the death of a family member or the distress that results from a catastrophic injury.  In the article, Chang describes how she developed the evidence necessary to present non-economic in several cases handled by Panish | Shea | Ravipudi LLP including Yoon v. United States ($17.45 million bench award), Casillas v. Landstar Ranger, Inc. ($34.5 million jury verdict), Rennie v. FedEx ($7.5 million jury verdict) and Villamariona v. CBS ($10 million jury verdict).
